The year was 1977 the
last day of March, a
high life king was born
trapped in the matrix it
was not until the 5th
grade that fate step
into his life. The
microphone called him,
haunting his very dreams
destiny let him to his
first appearance in a
public domain and also a
second at the time his
group was “5150 Strains”
with another High Life
Emcee “xxx” but this was a
long time before the
beginning of the HLK
Family. The year was
1991 when the team was
formed, joining local
party crew the “High
Life Kingz” hitting the
underground hard at
house parties emceeing
with Clever One (Tha
West Coast Ninja),
J-Loc, Gonzo126, XXXX,
Prince Charles, and the
rest of the HL Family.
Soon after Clever One
hooked up with Bum211
from Asylumusick The Son
Of None & Tha West Coast
Ninja headed into the
studio for the first
album from the High Life
Kingz “Tha World Wasn t
Ready” ya ll know the
rest may the force be
