805HipHop.Com is sending a Rest in Peace to DeShaun Holton aka "Proof" or Rap Group D12. According to NBC News affiliate WDIV, Proof (real name: DeShaun Holton) suffered a gunshot wound to the head at the CCC Club on East Eight Mile Road, near Gratiot Avenue. By the time police arrived just after 5 a.m., the club — which was operating illegally, after hours — had been cleared out, but several witnesses have come forward to discuss the incident with investigators. A spokesperson for the Detroit Police Department said only that "an altercation occurred [inside the club], and shots rang out," but would not discuss the shooting further, as the 30-year-old rapper's next of kin have not yet been notified. WOW! I have to say, the Dub Magazine car Show was off the chains. There was a lot of Smooth rides and Hot ladies in the house! The performances by T.I., Twista, and The Executioners was off the hook! We missed the TrillVille performance, and for some reason, Fabolous was hella pissed and didn’t perform. In the house was many acts from all over LA area and beyond. We finally got a chance to see a DOPE performance from the Deziak Clan! Their show was hype! Especially when they brought in the Opera singer to drop a verse on one of their tracks!! There was also another group, of which I didn't get their name, that was smokin! They had a DOPE dance squad in effect! There was a cat by the name of FAMOUS - His ish was tight!! I think he is from Long Beach. So, Much Props for doing a DOPE Job!
